Sales - Managed Services & Technology Infrastructure Sales
Job Description:
Red Level Networks is looking for an experienced leader to help take our sales to the next level, selling our technology services and product solutions. We are looking for someone that can build a successful sales strategy to help grow the company, and mutually benefit from that growth. You MUST be an experienced salesperson and must have a background in the technology field. You should be equally strong as a "hunter" and "farmer", to both help grow our business and to protect and nurture our installed base of accounts.

The successful candidate will be someone who's worked for a VAR and/or Managed Service Provider and has a solid understanding of our industry. You must have technology solutions sales experience - our core offering is our professional technology services. A background in managing projects and customer expectations is essential to succeed in this position. Our technical team is self-sufficient, but you will need to maintain a close relation with the clients to ensure that our customers always have both a primary business and technical support within the Red Level Networks team.

The successful candidate must be experienced in delivering solution sales to SMB and public sector (state/local government and education) customers in this market. Red Level offers information technology services 24/7, 365 days per year. Such services include hardware and software installation, hardware and software maintenance, networking, training, migrations, IT project planning, security audits, assessments, planning and design, installation and configuration, multi-system integration, performance analysis, managed services, and ongoing network, management. With experience, training and certifications in such diverse systems as Cisco, Microsoft, Citrix, VMWare, HP, Dell,Cymphonix, Xiotech and others, Red Level is able to ensure that customers have reliable and efficient technology at their fingertips. Red Level's experience and past successes give customers the confidence that they have exceptionally reliable personnel who will be able to solve all their problems as a result of one call This requires us to continually pursue sales training and to frequently complete sales certifications for vendors we represent. You will required to identify and attend necessary sales training courses to ensure that we are meeting company sales certification training goals and objectives on schedule.

Qualifications:

  • College Degree preferred but will consider applicants with equivalent work-related experience
  • Minimum of 4 years of successful sales experience within a large technical account environment: previous proven expertise in managed services & Technology Infrastructure Sales.
  • Proven talent for making effective cold calls to target companies
  • Proven ability to listen, extrapolate information and leverage resources to effectively provide solutions to customer needs
  • Proven expertise to develop relationships from a cold call or networking activity
  • Excellent ability to communicate at all levels within an organization

Responsibilities:

  • Direct responsibility for developing, tracking, reporting and managing all internal and external sales activities
  • Responsible for the initiation, arrangement and attendance for client tours as needed
  • Assist with the successful seamless transition of clients from new sales to strategic sales management team
  • Develop and execute new marketing ideas and activities
  • Build and solidify close relationships with vendor partners and distributors
  • Reach Sales goals as set
  • Track all sales activity, opportunity and sales funnel activity
  • Train and motivate other sales staff
  • Assist others in closing business opportunities

Network-Systems Engineer
Job Description:

Network-Systems Engineer based in Novi, Michigan to architect, implement and support network systems on existing and new client network infrastructure utilizing set procedures and industry best practices. Engineers provide multiple levels of Information technology support ranging from WAN to LAN operations. Engineers support clients via onsite support, VPN access, telephone support and real time remote access tools. System administration and troubleshooting experience of network servers, switches, routers, firewalls, email servers, database servers, printing, thin client support, and wireless support are expected and required.  Local travel is required. Engineer will interact daily with clients on a professional level and must be able to work independently.

Education:
Industry Engineering (MCSE 2000/2003, CCNA, etc.) product certifications (See Required Skills) (Preferred) Technical 4 year degree or equivalent demonstrated hands on experience.                         

Required Skills/Desired Skills:
3-5 years of Hands-on experience.
Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Operating systems (Windows 2003,2000, NT,XP,etc) and their continued support. MCSE 2000/2003, Network backup experience (Veritas,Archserv,) Symantec/Mcafee/Trend Micro, Firewall Experience (PIX,Checkpoint,Sonicwall, Netscreen/Watchguard),  Network routing and switching experience, Small Business Server experience required. Migration experience from legacy operating systems to 2003. Experience supporting Microsoft Exchange servers and migration to 2003. Must have the ability to troubleshooting logically and have good decision making abilities.
